The average human breathes about 23,000 times a day and intakes around 438 cubic feet of air. The vast majority of this air is indoor air. With indoor air pollution described by the EPA and Health Canada as Canada's No. 1 health pollution problem, wouldn't it be nice to know what is in the air we breathe? With HVAC Sales Indoor Air Quality Testing Program, you can determine yourself if you have an indoor air problem. If you do not, you can breathe easy. If you do, than consider HVAC Sales to solve your indoor air problem. For more information call HVAC Sales at (905) 669-5662.

STEP # 1
Purchase an Indoor Air Quality Test Kit from HVAC Sales for $12.77 plus shipping. The Test Kit contains two pre-treated petri dishes. This will test two rooms. You simply open the petri dish, let it stand open for one hour in the room and cover the dish with the supplied cover. Store dish in a warm place eg. at top-rear of refrigerator.
STEP # 2
Determine if there is a high micro-organism count by observing the growth in the petri dishes after five days. If the count is zero or very low, you probably do not need an air treatment system for a micro- organism problem. If there is substantial growth, you should consider an air treatment system. Note:
Micro-organisms such as bacteria and fungi should be noted with respect, but one should not be paranoid about them as you are surrounded with micro-organisms in your everyday life.
